Is this Tropical Storm?
I don't think so. Mine had smoother rounder leaves w/o those wavy edges. I had it for 3 years then it disappeared.
No. Here is Tropical Storm with Rainforest Sunrise. It's a slow grower for me.
Mine disappeared......anecdotally seems like a common occurance for this one unfortunately.
Sport of Rainforest Sunrise which is a sport of Maui Buttercups
Pic of MB in early June with a bit of sporting.
Can't be.....not dead enough....
Paul - I really love what your MB is doing - so beautiful! I'd be separating that one out if I were you.
I agree with mikgag - definitely too heathy looking. It reminds me of Golden Tiara - have you seen it flower yet?
My tropical storm is long gone, too...along with rainforest sunrise...what's the deal with those, anyway. My Maui buttercups has done fine, mexcept for the nematodes.
Mine also failed to make it through the winter. The solid-colored piece separated from it is still alive, though. : I
EDIT: Mikgag, I just noticed your post; I'm LMAO right now...
It's funny 'cause it's true!!

McTavish, your Tropical Storm is beautiful. So can anyone ID what I may have.
Could it be Wide Brim. That was one of the other ones I bought and can't find it in the garden.
Maybe Last Dance.
Reminds me a lot of my Snow Boy
but your seems to have a bit more of a ripple to the edge. Do you know where you got it from? That will help a lot with the I.D.
I got it at a local nursery.
Does look a lot like my Golden Tiara.
You know, ?I just realized.... Hey, my Rainforest Sunrise number one died over the winter, and so did Maui Buttercups. Wow. Duhhh, I just made a connection. I replaced Maui Buttercups, but can live with only one RF Sunrise.
I think the picture above looks like my Golden Tiara too.No scale to judge by, but it looks small.
