Red flowering bush. 7 or 8 feet tall, 10 feet in diameter. East Tennessee. Blooming late August, early September. Alternates leaves. Red racemes. Very showy. Know what it is? Thanks.

No, not native. That is Japanese knotweed which can be a very aggressive plant.
