How can I grow the native vegetable in Canada?

Which vegetable? There are many vegetables. Most vegetables aren't native to North Ameica. What zone are you in?

Depending on your climate you could grow blueberries (available at Home Depot or any garden store) Cranberries, squash (Cucurbiteae cucurbita; Cucurbitoideae) pumpkins, chives, pole beans and potato beans (Apios Americana...google them), sunflowers, sage, strawberries. All these are native to North America. Not sure which will grow where you live.
