garden speakers/workshops

Hi, The Garden Club I belong to is always looking for great speakers and workshops. We are in Northern New Jersey. If you have seen an interesting garden speaker or did a great garden workshop, please pass on the information. Thank You.

Hello,
This is the website of Pegi Ballister Howell:
http://pegi.home.comcast.net/~pegi/

She is an extremely informed speaker, esp about NJ gardening. She has at least one book out, and she has a show on WCTC radio (Middlesex County) Sunday at 8 am.

I know she speaks at the big garden shows, I don't know if she does other venues, if she charges, how far she travels, etc.

It's worth inquiring - she is terrific - warm, sense of humor, much knowledge.

SouthJerseyOrchids

Hello - I lecture on orchids. I spoke to a few garden clubs in North Jersey so you may even have had me as a speaker. Here is a brief introduction to what I lecture on.

Title: Orchids Are Different But Not Difficult

Beth will be presenting basic culture information as well as doing a hands-on potting demonstration. She will have plants to demonstrate with along with plants for sale.
Beth is a third generation orchid grower from Waldor Orchids in Linwood, NJ.
