Unidentified bush

bryna123(z5 N.S Canada)December 27, 2012

I've come to the experts for a little information, please and thank you! My father-in-law has this bush that started growing by his woodpile a few years ago. It is quite large now each year and gets full of small white clusters of flowers. He brought this photo to our house the other day as he wants to find out what it is. It is not really close up so hopefully someone is familiar with it.

Do you have a picture that shows the leaves or flowers closer up? It would help on the ID.

I can't get one until next season, but will get one if it is still unknown then. He did say the little white flowers were in clusters of 5.
Thanks for the replies.

If it arrived by itself it could be a Ligustrum ie an invasive non-native privet. Maybe L amurense?
