identifying green & red upright grass like plant

klboneDecember 1, 2009

I need help identifying a plant that I'm putting into one of my photography shows. It was in my backyard and my mom can't seem to remember the name of it.

She had it potted on our deck, so it grows well in direct sunlight. It is mostly green grass like strands with red just at the edges. It isn't more than 2 feet at the tallest.

Please help me in identifying this photo!
