What is this?..orange flower?

I had a friend give me this flower . It still is blooming. The leaves are green ( white spots on photo] Is not part of plant. Sure would love to know what this is.

Looks like Emilia javanica. Red or orange flowers, grown as an annual outside of the tropics. It has small fluffy whitish seed heads.

Yep, it's Emilia alright. Also called Tassel Flower or Lady's Paintbrush.
