tomato starts

Where do you all get your heirloom/low heat/early ripening tomato starts? Do you recommend mail order or do local garden shops/farmers markets near you all carry them?

New here so not quite sure what I'll find locally.

Some of the upcoming larger PNW plant sales can have a hundred tomato varieties for sale.

What is your approximate locality?

never mind, a friend just told me that the master gardener sale in Kitsap sells a lot of the tomato starts that I'm interested in. Thanks, though.
