What would cause daffodils to droop?

natureperson(7)May 1, 2007

I'm new to bulbs and daffodils, and this is the second year they've come up. They are starting to bloom, but they are drooping. What does that mean? Do I need to feed them or what?

If the stems are bending over- could be rain making the flowers too heavy or the bulbs are not planted deep enough. Some daffodil flowers last longer than others.
