Looking for recommedation to cover concrete wall

dlgobeavsMay 24, 2010

Could anyone make recommendation of a good evergreen plant to cover an ugly concrete wall? I have very good soil above the wall, but below is all concrete. Therefore, I need something that will trail over the wall, or at least allow me to train it to grow on cables attached to this wall.

Does Ivy grow "down"?

i know its not what you are thinking, but its free: MOSS. just collect moss that is currently growing on concrete. mix in bucket with buttermilk using a paint mixer attachment to your drill. and paint on.

And if it is in a full sun location, prostrate rosemary. 'Huntington Carpet' produces very long trailing stems.

NO ivy......at least not in Oregon!
