Lupine along I-5

karan_in_oregon(Zone 8 Oregon)June 23, 2012

Hi,

does anyone have seeds for these? They are blues, pinks, lavenders. I am too far south for them but saw them when I went to Portland. Or, if that isn't ok is there a source of seeds for them? They were from about Eugene north and in full bloom.

Thank you.

Liable to be Lupinus polyphyllus, a frequently offered item.

Willamette valley native is Lupinus polyphyllus var. pallidipes, hard to say if the I5 landscaping has that exact variety. Most lupines for sale are of course Russell hybrids.
