overwintering heliotrope?

toad_ca(z7b Bellingham, WA)June 18, 2009

After smelling my first Heliotrope, I bought one (a "Fragrant Delight"), stupidly not realizing it was an annual here!!! Is there any way it might come back next year? Does it self-seed? Can I help it do that? Thanks.

Would have to be dug and overwintered under cover.

rats! When you say "overwintered under cover," do you mean brought indoors (garage or heated house?) Does it self-seed at all?

I would not expect it to come back from seed here. But I cannot swear it never has.
