Hummingbird in Embothrium

There are tons of Anna's and Rufous, but they are always dive bombing, and I couldn't track them well. Here is a more peaceful moment. Watch in 1080p if you can.

If you plant Grevillea victoriae nearby then you have continuation into late summer, Anna's at least is all over this bush as well.

And the 'Inca Flame' fire tree, if you can still find it for sale here somewhere starts blooming weeks before the locally dominant type (seemingly referable to var. lanceolatum).
