OT: mPing from NWS

tigerdawn(7)February 8, 2013

The National Weather Service in Norman Oklahoma has a new app for Apple and Android devices called mPing. It's basically crowdsourcing precipitation data from the ground. The goal is to devlop better radar and predictions for precip that hits the ground. I'm sure we've all noticed the discrepancy between the radar and the rain. It's a neat app.
