Big Sky Echinechea series?

alygal(PacNW z7)August 29, 2010

Is anyone here growing the Big Sky series of Echinechea?

I've seen these gorgeous coneflowers in the garden centers and picked up a few. Now I'm reading online that people have been having problems and are unhappy with these plants. Mine are still too new - I'll give them a couple of years to see how they behave.

I have had two Big Sky Sunrise not make it through winter. I'm sure it was from drainage problems not cold. I have also lost Kim's Knee High.

Prairie Splendor is doing well.
