Paradigm has always impressed me. Grows well, not fussy, and a beauty. What more could you ask?
I purchased one about 2 months ago a really rootbound specimen in a 1litre pot. My neighboring one in her front yard. has a really big one in her front yard. it is a nice plant, reminds me a lot of Pauls glory without the propensity to revert to a solid blue green.
I have a good one that's about 3 years old. My stepson dropped it flat on the ground while spraying them for me last year. The whole top was smashed. It filled in beautifully. It's really nice this year. It has a really close tight center.
I've been impressed with how quickly Paradigm has grown and become a really beautiful specimen. The one in my photo above is 4 years old, started from a 2-3 eye division, and is at least 4 feet across. The only 'advantage' it's had is that it should be outside the perimeter of the roots of those darned old maple trees!
Wanted to add my Paradigm. I love this plant. It is always looking good.
Paradigm is one of the best looking hostas in my garden this October. Only in year 2, so not very large, but really earning its keep!
