What type of orchid is this?

Took this picture in Panama. Im thinking its some sort of Cattleya. Would love to have one like this at home.

Perhaps not a good choice for indoor orchid culture. The literature says that it gets to be very large.
Closely related orchids (schomburgkia) are sometimes seen around here but are not all that popular purely because of plant size considerations.
