Cymbidium Season, bam, all at once!

cena60March 1, 2009

Dr. Pepper bloomed first with a very poor showing. A few other noids trickled along. Suddenly, with the rain and some warmer temps, Whammo!

The Orchid Bed... (not nearly as tidy as some 'patios's we've seen!)
Green NoID and oxalis. Once they've fallen, I don't lift them up until after blooming.

"Solana Beach" fell in love with this one last year!

Might not be a NoID, forgot to check the pot!

Also, might not be...

Smaller bloom, cupped, definately NoID.

Trader Joe NoID! (= CHEAP)
NoID.
May be NoID.
Species, but no name... Oooo, didn't realize these were such bad pix! Sorry! Will take more next weekend!

Beautiful cyms! Solana Beach is especially pretty! I really like the third pic from the bottom, pretty colors.

Bad pix??? Not even. Pix and plants are beautiful. What's the nice bonsai?

Whitecat, thanks for the kind words. It is an 18 y.o. Crassula ovata, aka common 'jade'. (It was the blooms that made you not recognize it, strange white furry things on top...)
