Can You Identify My Orchid?

Allie2259April 2, 2013

This cattleya was won at my orchid club raffle about 4 years ago. Last June it blessed me with 12 beautiful corsage flowers that bloomed one and two at a time over a period of about 2 weeks. I have no idea what this orchid is named as there was no tag to identify it.

It is virtually impossible to identify hybrid orchids from photographs - there are over 10,000 of them registered alone. Sorry. If you really want to know what it is, the only way to find out is from whoever grew it originally. -Ian.

Thanks Ian,
I relocated from S FL where we acquired the orchid and have not been able to find the club member who submitted the plant in the raffle. Unfortunately, I was not able to protectct my 34 orchids very well during a hard freeze here last winter and lost that beuatiful orchid along with 32 others. I wanted to replace it with another one, hopefully while searching my luck will be good.
