Some other plants seen during Loquat search in Seattle

Bradybb WA-Zone8December 16, 2011

I read a few posts about a huge Loquat in Seattle. The directions were not address specific, but gave a general area. One of them was two blocks east of Weller.Weller runs east and west,so it was a little difficult to decipher. But I think I found the area, but found no Loquat.Heck,I could have walked right by it,as I've only seen a small one up close and not one that dwarfed a house. But I may be back.I think bboy posted in the same article about one growing on 65th that I'll most likely check out.

As I walked through this neighborhood though, there were some other plants, which I snapped some shots with my phone's camera. It was getting towards dusk. Some I can identify, some not.Brady

Vine with soft thick flowers

Snowberry I think

Bamboo or other reed growing above (Snowberry?) bush

Two big Fig trees were in this yard, they looked neglected

Monkey Puzzle Tree about 35 feet

A small Crabapple I think

Not sure what this is,looked cool

That was, of course supposed to be Symphoricarpos, with an "m". I hit the wrong key.
