Brassavola Yaki

Have had this primary-hybrid (B cucullata x nodosa) for five years and it is a faithful bloomer, usually kicking in around May and sending up more blooms through the summer. It is night fragrant. No, Ben, I didn't bring it to the beach to photograph. LOL It's hanging on the bougainvillea in front of the mural my DH just painted. It gives our patio the look of a beachfront cabana and is a terrific backdrop, don'tcha think? - Marci

Nice healthy plant and gorgeous set up. Love those branches on the bougainvilla.

Thanks, folks. BTW, Clint - the bougainvillea is not part of the painting! Those branches are real. You should have seen the one at our front entrance before Wilma blew it down!
