Masdevallia Whiskers (veitchiana x glandulosa)

I'm not a species snob but the vast majority of my new acquisitions are species with the exception of Masdies where hybrids are always welcome. This one was developed by Golden Gate Orchids and is a willing bloomer.

The veitchiana hybrids produce such stately and striking flowers, like this one. I have a Masdevallia Huayna Picchu that I am learning to care for right now. Hopefully I will get it right soon so I can have flowers like these.
