I have it in the warmest spot of the cold greenhouse. Good sized flower.
Unopened bud of the second stalk. In a week there may be 4 flowers open. I will take it to a meeting next Sunday where Norito Hasegawa should be, the one who named the plant.
The plant with the 2 stalks.
Very nice bloom.
Lovely and delicate looking.
Appears better now, more together.
Very nice. You are building quite the slipper collection.
It was Norito Hasegawa who stimulated me to get into Paphs after I resisted all these years. He gave a stimulating talk on the Parvisepalum group. I'm still not head first into playing the Rothschildianum game. These are too expensive and take forever to bloom.
Phrags, on the other hand, seem to like my cold greenhouse. I did not do well with them in the past but will get more now. I don't plan the hyperjump into Kovachii but will get Kovachii hybrids who seem easier to deal with. Thje Parvisepalum and Brachypetalums are also a nice group. At this point I don't plan to get smples pf the endless Bulldogs although some are nice and have a very solid substance.
All in good time. I'm working on Tolumnias right now.
All 3 are open now, here are 2.
The second one is much flatter than the other 2, it's the best one of the 3.
Lovely, each and every one.
Great growing. Is it a first time bloomer?
