Did I kill my beneficial nematodes?

downsouth1993(7A/B)May 13, 2007

Hi All,

I ordered some beneficial nematodes - two different types for the south and they arrived over 1 week ago. I got so busy with other things that I put them in a cupboard, did not refrigeratre them now close to 9 days, I found them. Are they probably dead? and of no use. I was going to spray them this evening for grubs and ticks as well, but now I don't know if there is any point? The company I bought them from is closed today - so I thought I would ask this garden forum.

Thanks in advance for any responses.

Put them into water and look with a magnifying glass to see if you see anything wiggling. You should be able to see them.
