Paph Blooming for Third Year

shirley-z-8-txAugust 18, 2013

Bought at a big box store with no ID about four years ago. It is it's third year to bloom. It had five blooms this year and this is the last one.

I don't think I have ever seen a Paph at any of my local box stores. Very nice find.

I haven't seen any since this one. All they get are the usual phals, sometimes a dendrobium or maybe cats in a bag.

I agree. I don't know why Paphs are not more popular as they are so easy. I think it is a lot to do with the price/ profit margin. Because they can't be mericloned they are less profitable.
PS "I love the idea of 'Catts in a bag'". Can I requote you on that one!
