Pleurothallis ochracae

orchidnickAugust 20, 2014

A small lithophyte found in the Bahia and Minas Gerais States of Brazil only. When I took pictures of it, I notice a lot of air roots dangling in the breeze. I packed some sphagnum moss between them. On reading about it prior to posting, I find out it's a lithophyte, not needing all that moss. I wonder if I should pull that moss off or leave it to it's own devices.

Nice colour contrast to the light leaves.
