Unexpected thread found on Scott's expert lawn forum

I just stumbled across this thread called

"Topic Title: Enhancing microbial actvity

Topic Summary: What can be done to encourage the presence of, or introduce, beneficial microbes in your soil?"

http://forums.lawncare.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=44&threadid=17178&enterthread=y

I thought it interesting because no one seems to have talked about not using synthetic fertilizers.
