Miltonia kayasimae

ifraser25(z11 Brazil)September 4, 2011

Miltonias have an undeserved reputaion for being difficult.Perhaps they are being confused with the temperamental Miltoniopsis (Pansy orchids). Despite its exotic appearance this is both easy and reliable. From this area of SE Brazil.Named after Kayasima-san, one of the many Japanese-Brazilian orchidophiles.

Beautiful. I always enjoy your photos and comments. Being relativly new to orchids I don't know any better than to try them all and have had good luck with Miltonias so far.
