C. Caudebec 'Marty's Orchids'

sdahl(Near Yosemite)September 17, 2007

First blooming for this one. I'm so far behind in repotting that it's still in its original 2" seedling pot, and it's definitely not a minicatt! Poor thing.

The flower should lighten further to a cream background. It's 3.75" wide with a grape/mothball scent.

From Marty's (now owned by someone else?) Orchids.

A beauty! I like the pattern of the dots. The petals and sepals have their own designs. Very cool!

Sharon, mine has the same clonal name, also still in a 2" pot but still a little guy. Hope it turns out like this one!

Another beauty!

Sharon, send some of your catt blooming magic over to me.

If I get to see one catt bloom this winter I'd be ecstatic...who am I kidding?? If I don't have a root rot problem this winter I'd be ecstatic!

Love your pictures!!
