Dendrobium cuthbertsonii

tucker_sp(Z4 MN)September 30, 2013

I bought this unbloomed seedling from Andy's earlier this year. The color was not mentioned in their listing, but am I happy that it turned out as it did! It's growing really well, so I hope to have more flowers later this fall. Assuming I do, I'll post another picture.

Congratulation! That flower will last about 9 month which is how long it usually takes me to kill these little beauties.

I have 2 others, different colors, which I've grown for quite a long time. My overall rather cool conditions are good for them, as long as I can keep the humidity up when I'm using a lot of heat in midwinter. So far, so good.
