See Mindy's recent post titled "Overwintering Mahoney's 20 cent Sale Bulbs in Glazed Pots". She has posted an article right on this subject. The second half of the article gives options available for our zone. I just bought some bulbs for 75% off and one of the people at the nursery (Mahoney's) thought putting them in plastic containers/pot (can do the planting inside or in the garage) and then moving the container/pot outside might be a good solution. After the first Spring when the flowers are gone, replant the bulbs directly in your soil for succeeding years. I am by NO means an expert but I came across these two things when I had the same question as you have now. Good luck!

First the bad news. Your bulbs may be dried out from sitting out in the air all of these weeks. You need to take a knife and cut one open to see if they are still viable.

Now the good news. If the bulbs are not dried out, then they are great candidates to be forced. Crocus don't need as long of a chilling period as larger bulbs. Yours have already received a few weeks of chilling. If you pot them up now and keep the soil moist but not overly wet, then by the end of January you should be able to bring the pots into the house and shortly thereafter get treated to some nice flowers.

If you need any more info, then feel free to email me. I've successfully forced many types of bulbs including crocus.

If you give the bulbs a squeeze and they feel solid and firm that is a pretty good indication that they are still good. Dried up bulbs get a flimsy feel. This is quick test for sale bulbs to decide if they are a bargain at any price.
