I finally have foxgloves that self-seeded! I was sure that was what I was seeing and now they are blooming. I am encouraged to plant some white foxglove seeds. I love the spiky columns here and there. There are about 6 plants I think with some on the other side of the rose.

See this one almost hidden behind the rose....

Foxgloves are what I think of as cottage garden flowers. They would be much easier if you could depend on them coming back. I had a little patch of thick weeds that I didn't pull waiting to see what it was. It is yellow celosia. Those are easy and always come up but I am glad I didn't hoe them which was my thought. Your petunias are coming up too and four o clocks everywhere.
