This is the third blooming for this plant. The last two years were in November. This is one of my favorite Angs.
*clunk*...I'm picking up my jaw from the ground. This is just marvelous...stunning. How bright do you grow yours? The leaves of mine are paler green ... I think it may be getting too much. PS - do you know of any primary hybrids that have this as a parent?
That is a beauty. You and Cal are are making me into an Aerangis collector wannabe.:)
Gorgeous specimen! Did you know that sending this species to Florida for the winter can double its size? ;-)
Carol - we'll be wannabes together :-)
Bruce - funny...I heard the same thing, except it was Canada instead of florida...strange. ;)
Or just a wee bit south to Texas! Awesome plant and blooms. How long will the blooms last? Are they fragrant?
I'm getting 'hooked' and want a Fall bloomer!
Cal, i'm pretty sure I've seen referenced to some in Hillerman. I can't recall specifically. I've never seen or heard of any for sale. If you really want to know, i'll look it up for you. Otherwise...i'm too busy. :)
Shiela, they last about three weeks or so I guess. They're still going strong and started opening a few days to a week before I posted the photos. They are fragrant as just about all white flowered, moth pollinated flowers are. Otherwise the moths wouldn't be able to find them.
