Could you help me identify these plants? They are growing in a cluster in my raised bed vegetable garden.

I'm thinking poke seedlings. I've been pulling them out of my garden for a couple weeks. Be aware that any you miss can make a good sized root by the end of summer and then you will have to dig them out.

Thank you! When it first emerged I was hoping it would be one of the vegetables I planted from seed but as it is growing I have been getting suspicious about it being a weed. I will pull it today.

looks like poke weed to me too. i have a mess of them and some i have to get out because at first i thought they were so cool and allowed them to grow for the birds.

poke leaves are poisonous so be sure to wash your hands.

I eat the little leaves with bacon but as it gets bigger it is supposed to develop poison.
