This is where they live taking up my water because I can't siphon this water too many "pets". Here is one in a white bucket. They are harder to catch than brainless tadpoles. Little guys need to be very careful.
I haven't been seeing little frogs on my windows at night like I used to. I think having a drought two years in a row is hurting their numbers. I should put out some water for them.
Your crape myrtle is pretty.
I remember moving from Maryland to Virginia with a gallon of tadpoles when I was 13. I'm 67 and still playing with frogs. > target="_blank">little guys at night
But it was a big hawk moth. It jumped in the air at least two feet and the " hummingbird" was gone. I ran to try to rescue it but the frog jumped in the water. Then I saw another hawk moth and realized it was just a moth.
I haven't be outside enough to notice if we have any frogs in the old stock tank or not....heck, it may even be dry now.
These are wonderful pictures, Helen.
Darn, I was hoping you were as old as I am......
Glenda I am sure that you're younger than me and you lie about your age. ; ) No old lady could do all the things you do.
Would that it were true.....I will be 73 this September. My Sis who is 75 made me ashamed when I told her I read all afternoon......but then she stays up all night and sleeps 'til noon. To each his own.
