Will it bounce back?

LagoMar(USDA 8/AHS 7)February 7, 2013

I have a large Ponytail Palm (not a palm I realize) in a pot on the porch. The pot is rusty and must be replaced. I couldn't bring it inside so I thought I would test its limits. I didn't think to at least cover it. Well 24 f is apparently a bit less than it likes, at least in a pot on an open unscreened porch. The top is getting white. Does anyone have experience with Ponytails to know if it will grow back? The same plant lost a lot of leaves when I tried to make it an indoor plant. It needs sunlight. But this time its turning white from the top rather than brown from the tips.

It doesnt look dead at all, just a damaged from the cold. Im sure it will bounce back just fine they are pretty hardy.
