What is this?

Hi all -

This sprouted about 8 months ago among my passion vine seeds - some I got SASE and were hybrids. I really don't think its a passion vine (all of my others kept their cotyledons, and this one didn't, but I don't remember what they looked like anyway). But does anyone have any idea what kind of plant/vine it is? Thanks!

Not a clue. Definitely not a passion vine, but you knew that already.

It's hard to tell--at each node are there three leaves, or one deeply divided leaf with three lobes? There are some passion flowers that have deeply divided and narrow lobes, like parritae and tarminiana and some other tacsonias. There's one that I've seen but I can't recall the name specifically, but has extremely narrow three-lobed leaves. I'd say wait a little longer and see if it puts out any tendrils.

Here is a link that might be useful: Parritae flowers and leaves at top
