I see this palm occasionally on my walks here in so cal. Can someone identify? I'd like to plant in my sunny front yard

It's a Dypsis Lutescens (Areca Palm).

They're definitely Dypsis Lutescens, Golden Cane Palm. Areca is a totally unrelated genus of palm from southern Asia. Dypsis species are from Madagascar.
