Hi my jalapeno plant has a problem with its leaves, perhaps any of you know what it is and what i can do?
ignore the white stuff on the leaves that is dried up fungal spray (which has not worked)
another pic (idk how to upload multiple together)
So.......what's the problem?
the brown spots
It's not unusual for seedlings to show minor damage like that, especially on the first few sets of leaves. Looks like your potting mix is pretty wet, which could draw fungus gnats. What is the light colored thing on top of the soil? If it's an egg shell, the problem may be that you've put garbage into an environment that should be close to sterile.
Are those aphids I see there?
Also, ditto to what Ohio said...get rid of those eggshells, if that's what they are.
Eggshells are of practically no use in a container situation.
That is not a seedling. That was an adult plant until the top died and i cut it off before I gave to him.
And i read somewhere eggshells will help to provide calcium.
I am willing to help here but I do not know much about diseases as a new container gardener. Only suggestion here is If the picture is a bit clearer with the soil will be helpful to the others to study the problems, I guess.
Eggshells do release calcium into the soil - in the right environment and over a considerable amount of time. Sitting in your pot they are not releasing calcium. They are just sitting there while the soft bits rot and provide food for whatever (not plants).
I don't see anything wrong with the leaves. Pull back some to take the picture so we can see the whole plant.
on the 2nd pic there is some white spots on the leaf. I have seen them, and they are not bumpy so its just a flat white spot.
