Your P. quadrangularis fruit is reminiscent of some that made the news a while back, growing in Brazil. Is this a special strain, or just regular P. quadrangularis?

Great photos. I particularly like Passiflora edmundoi x miersii

That is indeed a very "special" strain, isn't it? The original fruit from Cuba from which I got the seeds had the same shape as the picture I posted, and the first few fruits my vine produced also had this shape. Curiously, however, all the fruit it is producing now are not deformed, as shown in the pictures below:

Thank you MsMorningSong, the pictures are only some of many dozens, so for every good one there were many not-so-good ones. I think taking pictures like these is always easy, since flowers never complain about having to wait for many retakes. :)

Oh, Wow! Never seen any of these passifloras; I only have the P. cerulea growing at present.
