smells like... tomato?

wirtlo(z6 NV)November 8, 2007

I have a P.vine I stuck in one of those tomato/small flower "bags" that you can hang and grow from - and it is starting to grow like crazy. I am not sure what it is though. It smells like a tomato plant when I move it/ruffle it. And it has 3-pronged leaves - each prong being a little over an inch at most. The petiole has two, sometimes three, nectaries.

I have another that has 3, 5, or 7 pronged leaves with each prong being about 1/3 of an inch and puts out new growths from the roots like crazy. I am thinking caerulea.

Any ideas on either of them?

Could be a number of passiflora species or hybrids. Caerulea leaves generally have slender, rounded lobes. Here's a link to a pic on Passionflow:
