Which passiflora has longest flowering season

rross(NSW Aust)November 12, 2013

I've fallen in love with passionfruit vines and would now like to try growing ornamental passiflora. Are there any varieties that have showy flowers for a long period? I live in a temperate climate. In Summer, temperatures average in the 30s (Celsius) and in Winter the minimum would be around 12 degrees.

Any info would be appreciated.

P. herbertiana flowers and fruits all the year round and does not need to be hand pollinated. The flower is opened several days. It is hardy to 0. deg C. (Australian origin relative to P. aurantia.)

My 'Lady Margaret', which is red with a white center, blooms nearly year around as does my P. belotti, which has a pink/lavendar/lime green flower.
