Can I cut the blooms from my peonies

lauraann123June 1, 2007

I am a new peony owner and have several beautiful peony plant sin my yard. Can I cut the blooms to bring into my home or will this kill the plant or stop further blooming? Also, if I can cut them, what is the best way?
