Mice in garden
Has anyone ever had problems with mice in your garden?
Mice ravaged half of the seedlings I planted recently, and have been eating/destroying my other plants in my enclosed 1st floor patio (enclosed by a wooden fence). In addition, they have been scampering up the side of a brick wall to get to my 3rd floor balcony! I know it's a mouse problem because I found one that had drowned in one of my planters that filled with water after it rained.
I'd like to stick with natural remedies, if possible. I have tried peppermint oil-soaked cotton balls with some success so far. I'm reluctant to try poison/mothballs becuase I'd hate to inadvertently kill/harm a neighborhood cat or dog who might eat a poisoned mouse. I also have a dog myself.
I'd appreciate some suggestions!
Thanks in advance.
