My peony leaves look like someone splashed black ink on them are they diseased? Do I need to dig them up and start. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Just cut the leaves off and remove. They had a fungus that caused the black spots. by removing you decrease the chance of having the black spots next year. It is a little early to remove the leaves but most of the food has been stored for next year.

This is very common in peonies.
