Droopy Peony

soonergrandmomNovember 22, 2008

I have one peony which has been in place for about 5 or 6 years. It blooms every year, but the stems are not strong enough to hold up the flowers. I have a small cage around it which keeps them from falling all of the way down. Is there something I can feed the plant to make it strong enough to hold up it's own blossom

I don't remember the name...double pink something, I think.

This is a problem with double blossum peonies. Planting in a frame and avoiding overhead watering is all you can do. Be glad it is a good bloomer. Al
