Looking for fernleaf peonies

stevelau1911November 5, 2013

I'm looking to find some fernleaf peonies, but don't know where would be the best source.

I can't find them locally. Does anyone have them by any chance? Where would be the best place to buy a small one?

Hey Steve, if you're truly looking for small fernleafs check out Edelweiss. I bought 3 or 4 from them this summer, they shipped in fairly deep 4" pots for around $12-17 dollars each. Not sure what their selection would be like this late in the season but the ones I got were healthy and seemed to do well over the summer.

I got interested in them this last spring and ordered several from different places. Got a pretty large one, think it was a double red, from Fina that had a few roots break off. Planted them in a pot, if they come up this spring I'd certainly be willing to trade you one. Email me if you're interested and I'll let you know if they grow.

Here is a link that might be useful: edelweiss perennials
