keeping cats out of raised beds

vaherbmomMarch 10, 2012

Any ideas for making my garden unattractive to cats?

Over the winter I have had the beds all covered, but when I uncover them they will quickly become the popular "potty" spot, yuck!

thanks for any help!

I did the 'search the forums' for you and came up with the attached threads on this subject. See if you can't find some worthy advice amongst all the pages of older threads.

ken, my retriever does the job for me! Not as large as a mastiff, but MUCH faster.

thanks for the link to previous threads, I am reading through the many suggestions
I have livestock guardian dogs but they have been trained not to bother cats (we do want the cats around to keep mice out of the barn/feed).

vaherbmom, this is off topic, but what kind of guardian dogs do you have?
