I give up. Tools for cleaning Mx fan palm trunk?
I've seen 100s of MX fan palms in California recently cleaned, where the seasoned trunk is weathered to gray, while the cleaned portion is still various shades of tan and brown.
But I've never been able to catch someone in the act of cleaning to see how they do it.
I've called around various tree maintenance companies here in San Antonio, and they don't even perform the service. (I did have one quote that was the equivalent of buying 20 ft MX fan palm)
Anybody know how how, what tools?, professionals use to clean the fiber and frond boots from MX fan palms down to smooth trunk?
