Moni, those are beautiful, how in the world do keep the insects of your peaches? I can never grow fruit of any kind be cause of insect and critters.
Larry, they are not really ripe yet. If I wait, they will have been chewed on, or fell to the ground.
This way, I can take them with me to my daughters house. ;)
My mouth just lit up.
Moni, What a beautiful harvest!
Very nice Moni. Those peaches are gorgeous. Mine are smallish this year but very sweet.
YUMMM!! I can just taste the peaches. Anyone know when the Porter peaches are ready??
Where do we need to go to meet you at your daughter's house? I'll bring the fresh Jersey cream to pour over the slices. What say ye all!
Mary, it is an 8 hour drive, sure you want to come? ;)
Well, I guess I'll just have to be there in spirit.
Moni, that is a great looking harvest!
sorie6, someone has been selling Porter peaches at the Norman Farmers Market for a couple of weeks now. The Porter Peach festival is next weekend (17th-19th), so there should be plenty there.
